VST RECOMMENDS: HEART OF THE BEAST
“I walked out of Heart of the Beast and I’m going to be straight with you: that movie made me cry. One of the best damn films I’ve ever seen. The survival and the outdoorsmanship they put on display — beautiful. We’re behind this film all the way. If you haven’t seen it yet, go watch it.”
— Richard Vigslist, Master Instructor
A retired Special Forces veteran. His combat dog. Fifty-eight miles of Alaskan wilderness between them and home after their seaplane goes down. No signal, no rescue — just a man, a dog, and the will to keep moving. This is the kind of story we live by at VST: the bond between handler and dog, the refusal to quit, and the outdoorsmanship it takes to walk out of country that doesn’t care whether you live or die.
OFFICIAL TRAILER — Paramount Pictures. Watch it here, then go see the film.
